North Korea vs South Korea

The one white dot is Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea and specifically Kim Jon Il's hangout. Socialism has proven to fail time and time again. Here is basically a time elapsed snapshot of Free Market v. Communism since the Korean war, so what 50 years ago?
